Shruti's Counseling Approach
In counseling, I use a person-centered approach, emphasizing the importance of building genuine and trusting relationships with my clients. I strive to create a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood as they explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and healing, and I support clients in navigating life’s challenges and experiencing change in ways that are meaningful to them. With children and adolescents, I incorporate developmentally appropriate strategies while working with parents and caregivers to support the family system.
